Sharr

A brawler who once roamed the tundra with her clan.

Sharr used to be the foremost champion of her small nomadic tribe. She took great pride in her skills as a fighter and lived for battle. However, one day a rival clan who had warred with hers for decades dared her to a duel. They would send their strongest warrior to fight against Sharr, the loser would leave the area with their clan for good.
Sharr jumped at the chance, convinced that she could beat any of their fighters in one on one combat. She and a few of her fellow warriors set out to the place where the battle was to be held, but when she arrived there was no one to meet her. It had been a set up: while she was gone the rival dragons launched a surprise attack on the camp of her clan. They had secretly allied themselves with a tribe of centaurs and the combined force was enough to obliterate all of Sharr's clanmates. Upon her return she witnessed the triumphant enemies standing over the dead bodies of her friends and family. In a desperate final act of revenge she lead her remaining warriors in one last charge. All of them were slain, including Sharr herself.




When she woke, Sharr recalled very little of her final days. She had a vague sense that something disastrous had happened but she couldn't remember what. She was alone in a dark, empty chamber. The walls were cold to the touch and made of smooth, solid blocks. Sharr could barely feel her body, let alone move, and let herself drift off into a tumultuous sleep.
Visions of the battle flashed before her eyes, devoid of meaning and context. A chaotic whirl of slashing claws, mauling fangs and rust stained snow, all underscored by a deep, terrible feeling of grief and rage.
Sharr woke up in a panic, emotions and memory fragments racing through her mind. She let out a terrifying roar and thrashed against the walls of the dark room, slamming her neck and tail against the walls in an effort to break through them. The soft -clink- of the unlocking door was lost in the noise of her racket.
