Biography

Uh-oh, looks like this old Eyeburner wandered a little too far from his lair Fantasyfreak-74471, and now he's off to see the world! If ever you feel the urge to exalt, he'd really appreciate it if you could just return him home instead, or to the 'Dragons Off To See The World' thread, here.

Ritual lived most of his life in the FantasyFreak lair for a long time, even since he was a baby. Now that he is a lot older, and his mate has been exalted, he has decided to move on. He has no want for a mate, but won't mind nesting once in a while. He is willing to be helpful in any situation.

While on his travels, he wandered into Shadow Flight territory. There he stumbled into some dragons from a lair in the Wispwillow Grove. They welcomed him easily-their clan was no stranger to travellers, and often housed them for long periods of time. Indeed, he stayed there for a while. He befriended quite a few travelers who were staying in the lair and traded stories; he even nested for a term. Finally, once his hatchlings were grown, he came to the decision to move on, and so he did. One night, after saying goodbye to his children, he flew towards his next unknown. Before he left, however, one of them presented him with a copper necklace to remember his family there by.

After that, he joined a modest Wind clan with hoarding issues. Every dragon there seemed to be more and more attached to whatever they gathered, hunt or collected. But he found himself fit for the role of storyteller, as the other travelling dragons had before him. Unfortunately, he also got involved in the subtle subterfuges of the stunning Morgana, the smartest but most selfish dragoness he had ever met. He fell for her mysterious ways and confusing hints as many before him, finding himself competing for her attention with two other members of the lair, Merlin and Lancelot. Not feeling protected anymore, not wanting to start travelling again so soon, he decided to be hosted by a nice eyeburner entushiast, until the urge for adventure called him again.

During this time he has taken a long stay with a plague clan, filled with lots of odd dergs. They were surprisingly welcoming, with only a couple being wary of their new clanmate. The skydancer Wild became friends fast with him especially as they talked of stories in the lair, which was a common event done at night for the hatchlings. He saw many dergs pass by, but one night was facinated by a coatl who was teaching about the stars. Her name was Coatlcota, and she did not seem interested in telling of her past, which he was not bothered by. They quickly became fast friends, as they rested under the stars, as he told her stories, in return for listening to her speak about the stars to the hatchlings.
