Hallow

Toxicologist
(Serious, Calculating, Stubborn)

"....Would you care for a sip...."

Hallow came into the Navixros clan through mysterious circumstances, quite literally he appeared in the clan. How he got in no one knows or cared enough to ask. Granted Hallow was not going to say even if they bothered. He was intrigued by the clan being filled with warriors, but he is not much for brute strenght. Instead he has his own interests.

Just as he was grateful that they were not a curious bunch, asking all about the mist that trailed from his eyes, and claws. If they were, then they had best be ready to give him information of equal value. Not that many dragons here caught his interest. But there were many samples of toxic materials lying around the clan which was his final decision to stay.

Hallow's greatest delight is nothing more than to brew lethal poisons, and test them to record the effects. For him there is no greater pleasure than to inject the poison directly into his bloodstrean in order to test the potency. He enjoys the tingling sensation that it causes.

While exploring and collecting materials, he encountered an interesting dragon named Tartarus, who was very interesting mumbling about how glad he was to have bartarlov out of the clan. This tartarus though was amusing, since the many eyed spiral immediently guessed his identity, something not many live to say.

Tartarus was able to trade something of value, for knowing his identity. Unlimited access to the toxic materials that piled up along the river of souls he guarded so well. Hallow also found that Tartarus was someone he could consider an ally. With those materials, his toxins became far more potent then he could ever dream. It was wonderful for him and perfect.

It did not take long for him to learn all the secrets of the clan, but nothing of his interest. But he learned of a new member joining the clan. Hopefully they stay out of his way. That will keep things in order. Hallow did get to meet this member, Miravalles....who was more intriguing than he had expected.

She oozed of death, even more than Tartarus's cavernous pits filled with restless spirits. He was interested. She might actually be useful to him. Not only that but he could taste dark magic following her. Hallow was caught off guard when Miravalles intentionally sought him out. They talked for a bit, and he agreed to be her mate as well as exchange research materials.

Her notes were interesting, a lot of the viruses he could use to modify his poisons. But that dark magic, it tasted of a powerful mage. The curse was very strong, strong enough to catch his interest. She was curious on why he did not take off his armor, and the mist....and he wanted to know about her curse.

She insisted he had to tell her first, or else she will not bother with telling him about her curse. She wants it that way, he will refuse and work it out the old fashioned way. After some careful research he learned she would wilt plants if she touched them. Her curse is pretty mild considering she does not need to rely on feeding on plants...but if such a curse was done to a tundra...that would end badly.

How her curse worked...was a different matter. This called for research in some of the forbidden tomes he kept stored. They were in places no dragon was capable of looking. Though Neither would any of the deities find them either. So far he would guess that the magic might work by her devouring the essence of plants only....but essence magic normally targets more than one thing.

In one of these tomes there must be something. Hallow knows the curse is somewheres in there, because how to create a ghostly spirit possessing a corspe like himself was among the collection. As well as the magic he used on his armor, to seal his essence and reduce the effect of his soul burning all in his wake. Defeating anyone this way is easy...with poisons he has to do some tactful thinking, with a strike retreat technique. Perfect for one such as himself, and he would get plenty to watch.

Deep down, he had a feeling that Miravalles will figure out what he is, most likely when her mind is clear from the viruses she obsesses with. She is a very smart dragon, with a strong mind. Strong enough for him to actually consider her an equal, who is worhty of being his mate.
