The sun was setting as the two of them walked into town. They had left the castle for the last time, but neither were ready to give it up yet. As they passed by the market, he stopped in his tracks and stared at the stall owner. The man’s eyes widened and immediately rushed over. “Sir Knight! Are you alright? Do you need anything?” He only shook his head no, gesturing over to the booth. “I want to buy a sword, can I have one with a shield on it?” He pointed at a large, heavy looking sword with the word ‘Shield’ etched into its handle. The seller nodded and began rummaging through the various swords on display, until eventually finding one that seemed just right. He held it out, smiling warmly. “This is a fine sword. I know you will get good use from it; I am sure destiny itself has chosen this for you.” He tipped them profusely before returning to her. "Here. Take this one." She gave him a skeptical look. “Are you sure about that? Not sure I like it anyway. What if it isn’t what destiny wants for me?” They both chuckled, neither were fools.
