Biography
Slygotha is not happy.
That is not to say she wasn't content. She always gets what she wants. Slygotha has a way of dominating others that makes them either avoid her or revere her. Her mate, Reaper, is dedicated to spreading chaos wherever he goes. He loves sewing fear through subversion and strength, but at home, he acquiesces to her commanding presence.
Although Reaper is stronger, Slygotha is the boss, and they both know it. She loves Reaper as much as she could love another dragon, although she loves her hoard much more. Greedy, contemptuous, narcissistic, arrogant and condescending, Slygotha is an absolute Karen among dragons, and she won't let you forget it. She is better than you. She will tell you all about why, too, if she doesn't demand you leave right now after stumbling across her hidden den deep in a forgotten corner of the swampy lowlands tucked into the lower recesses of the Starlight Stand.
How She and Reaper ended up living in the domain of the Arcane flight is unclear, but certainly the fae colonies that inhabit the magic wood there know well enough to avoid the fetid pool where her lair lies. Facinated with the idea of manipulating greenery to her will, she sought a place to perform her experiments away from prying eyes, especially her previous home. The Greenskeeper would not tolerate what she did to the plants and animals she kept within her lair. Slygotha enjoyed probing their mysteries, unlocking ways to use various life forms to her advantage.
She had become quite adept at twisting certain plants to her bidding, and with a steady diet of her own venom breath and a hefty dose of arcane energies naturally circulating the domain she called home, Slygotha had raised a veritable army of deadly poisonous thorny vines that opened sticky, evil smelling flowers. They wrapped like grasping hands about her, embracing her like a child seeking its mother, and Slygotha, ever the matron, patted her creation and subdued it to hibernate until called upon. Various semi aquatic reptiles and amphibians were warped to hear her call, then released to roam where they may, but never strayed far from the tainted bog.
Still, though satisfied with her constant tinkering, Slygotha was not happy. She was never really happy.
