(Reluctant) Warrior

B I O G R A P H Y

Rusalki, deep green and finned, and protector of all. Rusalki may be sharp finned and terrifying, but all she longs for is a home and hatchlings, and people to care for. She is warm at heart, and would do anything to protect those she cares for, although she would prefer not to fight. She was never a very vocal dragon, preferring to hide in the dark corners, where she thought the shadows would soften her sharp features. It was here she met Heleionomai, another like her, all sharp spines and smoky visages, and made her first great and true, friend. They would meet in their warm and dark corners to exchange gifts and bits of treasure, and eventually, would pass these traits on to their hatchlings.

Heleionomai, smoky sharp and smooth, and arcane mage. Heleionomai may be odd looking and spiky-smooth, but he cares a lot, inside. All he wants, is a warm home, and company. He wishes to teach more of the arcane arts he knows, and learn more from others, but his appearance can be quite concerning to others. As a consequence, Heleionomai can usually be found in the dark corners of the den, sitting in the shadows, hoping it'll soften his odd edges. It was here he met Rusalki, lounging in her own patch of shadows, sharp and spiky like him. He met a true friend that day, and from that day onward, they would meet in the shadowy corners to talk or exchange little bits of treasure and material. They would also eventually pass these traits on to their own hatchlings, who they love very much.

These dragons may look intimidating, but the children of Heleionomai and Rusalki are big softies at heart. They’re sweet, timid dragons, who have a habit of lurking in the shadows because they think they’ll make friends more easily if other dragons just can’t see their sea monster-esque appearance. Unfortunately for them, this unsettles far more dragons than it soothes. They’re not particularly vocal dragons, which can sometimes serve to alienate them even more from others, but they love showing their affection for their clanmates, nonetheless. They often leave small trinkets and shiny things where they know their friends (or dragons they hope to befriend) will find them.
