Main Theme: Spellbound Hell - Damiano Baldoni

Hyacinth is the one of the primary magic users in the Piercing Mirid. He can typically be found outside near harsh winds as they are "excellent for performing spells and the sort", or so Aurora says. Hyacinth would prefer to think otherwise as, despite the Ice blood running through him, the frigid temperatures are not something to mess with. In addition to his learning, he also aids in the defense of Mirid, although this does not mean attacks are completely avoidable: If he gets sick, his spells protecting Mirid are weakened, and it's possible for others to block out any incantations made as well. It's not full-proof defense, but attacks are very unlikely, or so Hyacinth believes.
Hyacinth has a younger brother, Bluebell, and once had a younger sister who died due to the unfortunate circumstances that brought them to Mirid in the first place. While Hyacinth cares for Bluebell, they don't get along very well due to Bluebell's hostility, and as a result, they may seem rather distant. Most dragons around them don't really get why, and sometimes Hyacinth himself doesn't fully understand Bluebell's anger either. Hyacinth spends most of his time with Aurora and Aware and is an apprentice under Aurora. He tends to be on good terms with everyone else as well. Hyacinth himself is a kind Coatl who tends to be very coolheaded but also protective of anyone he cares about, altthough he can be rather obtuse in his personal relationships. He feels much responsiblity for his sister's death and has a complicated relationship with most Coatls outside of Mirid.

Hyacinth couldn't look her in the eye. "... I once had a sister. She got the bad end of us three, dark wings, grey colors and all. My own parents weren't that well off either. My father got the worst, probably, since he was all white. Ran away 'cause he couldn't take it anymore, met my mother who was, brighter, if I remember, but still darker. Bell doesn't remember them." He blinks, something in his eyes stinging. "I'm the only one who does." Jammy stared at him.
"And- your sister?"
"Dead. And, it's my fault. Cari definitely remembers that."
