Analogous Pigment Blend 		As Mars can tell you, he's campaigned in every single flight, in every campaign there is to enter. What he won't tell you is that he's won none of them.

His reputation precedes him. Notoriously corrupt, sleazy, opiate-addicted, and smooth-talking, Mars' skills have arguably gotten him very far in life. Most educated dragons know his name. He's evolved into a saying: "Don't pull a Mars!" when referring to possibly swindling someone else.

Another one of Mars' strengths was his virility. Wherever he went, he cast about fatherless children like dandelion tufts. One of these children would grow up to be Valpentarius.

When Mars decided to retire after a fruitless life of campaigning, he met Anisian. Anisian, impressed by Mars' abilities, invited him to stay in the Shrouded Isles. Mars accepted, and Anisian lent him a beat-up fisherman's shack at the edge of the Isles. There, Mars suntans and counts his treasure.

When Valpentarius heard of Anisian's invitation, he stormed up to Anisian, the most furious he'd been in his life, and yelled. How dare Anisian invite Valpentarius' absent father into the Isles without at least consulting him! Anisian ignored his protests, and Mars moved in within the week.

Mars told Valpentarius he's welcome to visit the shack anytime, but has yet to see his face. 		RELATIONS:

Mars guffaws to you at something you didn't say and offers you something glittery in his outstretched palm. You decline hurriedly.
