They are coming. They are coming very soon and Neroma is torn to shreds with worry because no one believes her and no one else is prepared to resist them. No one has even tried.

She has known since she was very small, spotted their scouts out of the corner of her eye, blackened mirrors against their entry, worn feathers in protection and carried iron implements in readiness, and so far it has worked but everyone around her is so frustratingly, maddeningly ignorant of the danger. At best they will listen, and nod, and do nothing. They will have a look in their eye as if there's something wrong with Neroma and not the rest of their horrifically unprepared society. At worst they will openly laugh at her, steal her protective items, bring in more mirrors and unblacken the ones in her rooms. She's at the end of her rope.

So it's time to find somewhere new to stay. Somewhere where if her new clanmates won't believe her they might at least humour her properly, adopt some of her protections.
