Biography

Nephew to King Arthur, Mordred was prophesied at birth to grow up to kill Arthur, destroying all he has worked for. At fourteen, he joined Arthur's courts as one of his knights, and worked towards good, until he and Lancelot came across a hermit who told him of his destiny. Outraged, he killed the hermit immediately, but began descending into a downward spiral. Through manipulation and guile, he pulled the strings leading to the civil war of Camelot, where in Arthur's absence, he would usurp the throne. Learning of his nephew's treachery, Arthur returned to Britain to fight him. After multiple inconclusive battles, the two prepared to face each other in the legendary Battle of Camlann, where the two killed each other.
