Talman is a crazy gambler, and loves a good party or a chance to entertain. Xerians also know him as a dealmaker, but always will trick those most desperate. He has a strange power to change fate and the odds to be in his favor, making him a force to be reckoned with and a powerful ally to the exiled.

His charming and eerily trusting aura makes him scary to young and emotionally vulnerable xerians. After he grew an unlikely friendship with the mad doctor Cessair, he often works hard to make Xerians fall into his ownership and offer them to his old friend as test subjects.

Despite being exiled, Talman never stays in one place, constantly travelling around the outskirts of Xerium looking for a new "chance" to arrive. His home is a wagon, and he wouldn't have it any other way.
