Normal dragons who were willing to renounce their God or Goddess came to be known as the Demonkin, a warped sect of dragons transformed by dark magic. Unlike the feathered elegance of the Righteous or Fallen, they bear ragged leathery wings. However, they are tattooed much the same as the Righteous and Fallen, with runes done in magic ink that allows an ever-shifting and changing history of an individuals' glories. Also much like the Fallen, they are marked with the subtle change of the Fade, an indicator that would forever mark them as bound for Limbo.
Imps are far smaller than other Demonkin, but are highly intelligent. Besides being mischievous little pranksters, they are good at infiltrating lairs to spy for potential new recruits and cause general chaos. They serve as the eyes and ears for Morningstar.
