Arabesque is presumably a talented poet, despite many not understanding the wonders he speaks of.

Arabesque is presumably a talented poet, despite many not understanding the wonders he speaks of.
Not even the wisest being could tell you what strange language this dragon utters. Somewhat of a traveller, Arabesque is bizarre and philosophical, often telling stories of fantastical lands and beasts. While the hatchlings adore his stories, many of the older dragons are intimidated by him, despite his aversion to violence and generally pacifistic nature- but perhaps that's what unsettles them.
Even Edur is not too sure why the whimsical Imperial chose to settle down in his lair. Arabesque just turned up one day, his exotic scent picked up at least a mile away by the ever-vigilant clan Patriarch. Even dragons not known for their acute sense of smell are often dazed by his potent, incense-y scent, often compared to Arabian Oud.
Arabesque is mysterious and exotic, as you can imagine he doesn't quite fit in. While he enjoys all the attention, he finds it hard to commit himself to any one thing.
