Koi. A strange dragon. An eternal one.
Koi was a singer. An adult Imperial, bringing joy to all the dragons she could. Belting out line after line of wonderful song. But when too many dragons were asking for her, too many thinking, hoping she would choose their clan to entertain forever, she had to make a decision.
And so, while touring the Shifting Expanse, bringing joy to dragons who had worked hard for so long, she had her final song. She slipped down a crack in the ground. She flapped her wings and lived, but when she lay down on the ground and didn't move, she didn't look as alive as before. They left her there as she hoped, and she went to a more creative and free place. The Windswept Plateau? Why not?
She began life again, this time as a writer. She lived a normal life, found a nice mate and a fascination with reading, and.. too many dragons knew her again. And when her mate died, she finally did what she had to. She left. This would be her last try, she swore upon it. A soldier. Fighting for Dragonhome. She lost interest quickly. The territory was too slow, much too slow after her visit to the Windswept Plateau. And since the dragons there were few, it wasn't long before everybody knew her name. So again, she was gone.
One place she still hadn't visited yet that she wanted to. The Southern Icefield. Something as eternal as herself. A resting place for her, forever. But life wouldn't leave her in peace. A scroll she found blowing around the icy lands turned her into a hatchling, and now she needed more dragons to care for her. And just as she thought that, she was answered with a storm that blew her into a new place.
A pack. It wouldn't be as eternal as herself forever, but.. she found herself enjoying it here. She needed a job to pay them back. A judge. She had gathered plenty of info across her long life, so why not use it here? And do some of the hobbies she had picked up along the way as well.
And so this would be where her journey ended. Maybe. But for now.. while the pack still lasts, she could stay here. An end to the travels.
