You'd think that a werewolf and a werecat's child would result in either one of the two, some weird hybrid, or neither. Kiro happens to be none of the above. Somehow in someway, Kiro has ended up with the curse of becoming a feathered monstrosity whenever particular triggers come across his way. He's not too sure of how it happened himself, as all he can recall is that it wasn't always like this-the memories of his pearl agrees, but cannot reclaim any memories he too lost in those events. Studies done by his mentor, Neve, have proven that the creature he shifts into is akin to that of a chicken or a cockatrice, but he prefers to be referred to as a griffin. Strongly. While he's skilled in crafting complex and delicate jewelry, he spends most of his time both observing and learning from Neve in brewing and alchemy. He's widely considered to be the kindest of the caravan, though many tend to stay away from him. Anyone who hangs with the likes of Wanderlust can't possibly have a heart of gold. Yet here he is and here he stays. An active voice of reason within the caravan, he often puts himself forward and lets his opinions be known. He stands for what's right...and pays the price. A hero who surrounds himself by villains, he's constantly berated and belittled for his naivety and foolishness by the others. Even Neve pokes and jabs at him, but he doesn't seem to believe that she really means it...so he stays. One day, perhaps, with the help of Neve and her teachings, he might even be able to recover his original shape. In the meantime, he intends to follow this troupe of dastardly individuals around and control just how much damage they inflict against the unfortunate victims they come across. |
