To know the veracity of that statement one would have to look into the eyes of the undead and ask them their opinion. Thankfully for you, she's willing to oblige and share. Rubra lived in misery and died with faith, murdered for loving that who was beyond her, she lived to swear her feelings to her beloved -feelings equally reciprocated!- but those envious of her luck held her in thorns and chains until her body limped and her strength faded. She died on the roads of some place beyond the shores, and got hastily buried under rock and weed in the deepness of a cave. Something in her dedication and love struck the chords of the heart of something bigger than all and so she was granted a second chance, she took it on earnest and so she was spared of rot. So grateful she was, she willed herself to exist beyond the shackles of her broken body and unto the shrubbery and rock of her tomb, even to the scattered empty shells and broken wings of lingering bugs; it was all her. She knew she was weak from the effort and so she took her time to tend to her new self(s), to replenish the strength lost and to mend the wounds not only of her body but her mind. No one would dare step into the grave of a miserable anyways, she had time to heal. The gardener of a nameless tomb she became. Rubra never forgot her love, she wished to reunite so badly. One day she would, she knew. Until then the garden of herself had to thrive, and with it, her life could continue until that faithful day. Oh the most beautful blooms she will share to him... |
