Lyric's egg was lost due to mysterious reasons. The Empire of Death's expansion patrol found her alone, barely hatched, in the Shadow flight. There weren't any signs of other dragons... she was merely there. This strange finding paired with the recent prophecy they'd received about deity-blessed dragons soon to reveal themselves to lead the new territories they planned to form. The patrol took care of her, forming a temporary camp as they worked out what to do with a long-term plan.



She grew up in the shadows of the pines, losing many dragons she cared about in the process of expanding the empire's territory. The hatchling knew of loss for a long age and had realized quickly she was something special. As Lyric grew older, she was taught how to properly lead others. It was a lot of expectations to put on such a young dragon but the skydancer took it in stride. She was elegant and fair but quickly learned how to defend herself and her future sub-clan with fierce devotion.



Once she was old enough to finally take over the leadership role, the skydancer headed to the glowing mushrooms of the Wispwillow Grove. It was there she helped to build her sub-clan simply known as Cult of Faerie—not a true cult but the name did sound worrisome enough to help ward off unwanted guests between the strange magic of the area and the rumors about the Empire of Death as a whole. Lyric certainly wouldn't tolerate any real cult-like behavior from her clanmates.



Leading other dragons certainly wasn't easy, especially as the sub-clan grew. She didn't back down though and continued learning as she went. This life was all she'd known growing up and while it was one many would be jealous to have they really didn't know everything that went into keeping a clan running smoothly. Lyric wouldn't ever think about stepping down though. This was her destiny and she enjoyed protecting her clanmates and fulfilling her duty, especially in such a beautiful territory. So far, all has been peaceful and Lyric hopes this serenity continues with the deities' blessings.
