xxxx Of the 130+ dragons that lived in the area, two had stood out among the rest: Alias Q and Aster. Both were emotionally distant scientists, but one lived in the citadel and the other still exists. When Q made way for the Starfall Isles, he didn't pack up everything. He wrote down every detail of every dragon he documented, then left the several books' worth of information for any other dragons coming across his hidden hideout. To leave his mark on the world so the clan would not be forgotten. Aster, on the other hand, had mysteriously disappeared with the rest of the pagfenx, leaving behind the magic reactor: The CORE.

xxxx Along came Asterisk, who had found the hideout mere hours after establishing himself as the clan scientist. There, he found pristine metal walls, beautifully installed internal lighting, entire rooms of science equipment, and best of all: air conditioning. Asterisk almost tossed the books documenting the history of the citadel before curiosity got the better of him. He studied the books for days on end, each dragon as interesting as the last. Then he came across Aster's entry. They were nearly identical to each other in every way, the exception being that Asterisk was a fae skeleton. It couldn't have been a coincidence, could it? He had no memory of being a fae, or did he? Did he get cursed somehow? Did he travel between dimensions? What did he do?!

xxxx When the humanoid skeleton isn't hidden away in his lab, he can often be found maintaining the CORE, one of the few pieces of evidence for the clan's, and his reincarnation's, existence. The CORE is a magic-based thermal generator that provides the entire clan with electricity. Thankfully, the old citadel's electrical systems weren't stolen or broken. Only Aster and Asterisk know for sure how it works.
