Sceal acts as a historian, more active and loud than someone who would sully the voices of the ones long gone with ink and paper. Although she understands not everyone appreciates her method of historical keeping, they enjoy her songs and stories. Many nights are spent gathered around in her cave, its walls painted red and orange with many stories of bravery - heroic dragons stretch up into the shadows like goliaths, with villainous figures creeping behind them. No good story is without peril, she informs the scholars sternly, and spends most any expedition heading right into danger, her head high and proud among the trees and brush as she searches for any story brave enough to fling itself into her path. Some say that the trees themselves tell Sceal where the stories are, as she speaks to them conversationally - and indeed, she seems to have a knack for finding good spots for the more archaeologically inclined dragons to search.
