So, Ram as a brand is a unique truck brand with a lot of confusion. Ram humbly started out as Dodge, and has never received the attention like the Ford and GM truck entries have. "Dodge trucks" were what they essentially were, in a brand of cars and SUVs like the F series, Silverado, and Sierra are.
Until Dodge gave Ram their own brand in 2009, that is. Yes, Ram is no longer under Dodge, and Ram has a lineup of nothing but trucks and work vehicles, creating a unique market. And furthering that unique market, the brand has popularized "luxury pickups", and is continuing to grow in popularity. The name change, however, still has older people used to the previous nameplate calling them "Dodge Rams". Either is accepted by the Ram community, of course, as all that matters is our shared love for the trucks.
Known as "The Longest-Lasting Trucks in America" and having "The Most Brand-Buyer Loyalty", there is no denying either. My sister GarlordianRising had inherited our farm truck, a 2005 Ram 2500 diesel, who she has lovingly named "Felix", and she reports he just hit 288,000 miles on his factory Cummins engine. That's just breaking in a diesel, and hardly broken in for a Ram! In the last 7 years in our family's possession, the most major issue with the 3rd Gen truck has been rear fender rust and U-Joints. It has had off and on issues with the transmission sensor, not the entire transmission, that has had to be replaced and restores it to its normal shifting operation.
If I ever move back to a farm and need a truck, I will never have a non-Ram truck. There isn't a brand of cars I stand by more closely, even coming from a mechanic's stand point.

Ram will always be 'vinned' (Vehicle Identification Number) as a Ram. We need to continue to market as Ram so Dodge can have a different brand identity: hip, cool, young, energetic. That will not fit the campaign for truck buyers. The two should have distinct themes."
In April 2013, Diaz left RAM to serve as vice president of Nissan's divisional sales and marketing. He was replaced by Reid Bigland.
In August 2014, Ram Trucks CEO Reid Bigland was tapped to lead the Alfa Romeo brand in North America. It was announced that the new head of the Ram Trucks brand would be longtime Chrysler employee Robert Hegbloom, who joined Chrysler in 1986 and had been a director for Dodge. In October 2018, Bigland was promoted to CEO of Ram Trucks. Shortly thereafter, he discovered that the division had been misreporting sales figures and turned over that information to the US government for investigation. Allegedly, FCA cut his bonuses in retaliation, which resulted in Bigland filing a whistleblower lawsuit against FCA. In March 2020, Bigland announced his resignation.
The Ram brand logo features the head of a ram, formerly the logo used by Dodge.
From 1927 to 1928, all trucks built by Dodge were actually sold under the Graham name, as that company held the marketing rights at that time.

Ram 1000 (2018–present): The Fiat Toro, a compact pickup manufactured in Brazil, is sold in Latin America as the Ram 1000.
Ram pickup (1981–present): The flagship product line, it includes models 1500, 2500, 3500, 4000, 4500, and 5500.
