The most unassuming of his nest, little Quill didn't attract much notice at first. But there was something in him that drew Jessamine, the founder of the Lair's, attention.
At first it was a kind of worry for the small dragon's health. Keeping him back from going to the frontline, a small thing curled up between his paperwork in front of the fire. Then he handed him some minor tasks to do. Just to keep him busy.
Those minor tasks soon turned into errants, then to matters of some importance. Eventually, it became a relief to have someone capable around to delegate to. To vent worries to, and to have a cup of tea with.
Quill now officially takes care of the companions. Making rounds every morning to check on them and their dragon. But whenever there is something to do, that Jessamine can't fit into his busy day, it's up to Quill to take care of it.
He gets little respect from the other dragons; the small, somewhat shy dragon doesn't inspire it. But when there is a problem, they expect him to fix it.
