Laexa

“I am re-birthed in the image of the galaxy.”

Lore Story:
Laexa has always been a dragon of curiosity and determination all her life, and this has caused her to undertake many reshapings of her personality and choices through her existence. Born as a normal dragon, her life was pretty ordinary besides her always being seen as a sort of oddball until she sees her first meteor shower. The meteor shower was one that would be remembered for ages by any dragon lucky enough to see it, and it illuminated her eyes as she watched the rocks fly in through the atmosphere. She wanted to know where they came from, so she decided to fly off that night, her curiosity taking her on a bigger adventure than she has ever embarked on before. She became lost, flying out into the night sky to seek the source of the meteors with no map or guide. Making it to the vast ocean of space wasn’t the hardest part, it would be to find her way back. Lost in the stars, Laexa quickly became overwhelmed by the billion things in her sight distracting her and found herself landed on a massive metallic silver rock. It was here she resided for several years, surviving off an odd type of extra terrestrial insects that lived inside the rock. These bugs seemed mechanical in a way, and it seemed that the more she ate, the more she gained an odd glowing circuit design. Eventually, the bugs had all been eaten, and Laexa found herself beginning to starve and waste away in the stars. Her body became too broken down, and her energy was too low. This would be her last sight as she curled up on the rock and fell asleep for what felt like would be the last time. Instead of her dying however, the rock under Laexa began to glow a deep purple, and it suddenly broke apart into two pieces slightly, trapping Laexa’s body inside the rock where she would be taking a great metamorphosis. Her normal plum color scales became filled with the energy of the stars that surrounded her, and the rock began to crush stardust into her thin body as it began to embody her with the light. The energy was powerful enough to awaken Laexa and revive her to a powerful and healthy state. With the blessing of the meteor, her new spacial skin gleamed in the stars and her scales reflected the stars near her with their own vibrant colors. The ice circuit caused from the strange bugs she fed off, and the starry scales caused from the rock encasing her in stardust, she was almost like a new dragon after this. She not only looked different, but felt like she knew the way home somehow after the rock powered her up. She takes flight again, and does eventually return home, with a lot of new stories to tell and new friends to greet that she never seen before. With the newfound love of stars and space itself, Laexa always finds herself wanting to learn more, and she is now dedicated to discovering anything and everything about space and why she became reborn there.
