Bio After that one fateful day that Arin met Zephyr, everything changed. The green mirror dragon led the Fae to a small bamboo lean-to. It wasn't anything fancy but it was enough to withstand the elements. A few jars containing materials and food were scattered around the lean-to, along with a beautiful green glass figure that resembled a fox.  
"Well, this is it. Home sweet home. It isn't much but its enough," Arin welcomed Zephyr into the small camp. Almost immediately, he ran towards a green glass fox statue who appeared to be sleeping in the light. "What's this? A familiar?" he questioned her. "I have no idea really. I just found it one day in the sun and moved it here. It hasn't moved at all so I am assuming not," she replied. Rick, Zephyr's familiar, came over and sniffed the fox. "Anyways, we already hunted enough food and you seem comfortable enough knowing your way around the place, so what should we do?" "Well, we could just rest a bit if there is no work to be done." "Sounds like a plan, I'll go set up another lean-to for you and Rick," as Arin was about to head out to collect some bamboo however, she saw a shadowy figure in a cloak holding a basket. Curious, the mirror went to the cloaked dragon. Just as she was about to get close to it though, the figure must have sensed her and ran off, dropping the basket. She picked up the basket and peeked inside, revealing a small, grey spiral hatchling. A little while later, Arin returned to camp with bunch of bamboo and the basket containing the hatchling. As she and Zephyr were building a shelter, Zephyr glanced over at the basket, "What's that?" he asked. "I think its... a spiral? It's been sleeping this whole time; I found it in the woods as I was gathering the bamboo." "Its a plague baby though! How did it get here?" "Do you think I would know?" "Well, what should we do with them?" Zephyr took the little grey dragon and cradled it in his arms. The spiral yawned and slowly opened its eyes, waking up. "I don't know, maybe you can take care of it!" The spiral was staring at Rick now. "In that case, let's name him Bassoon!" Zephyr suggested. "No, no, NO! That's a TERRIBLE name!" Arin screamed. "Well, what would you name them then?!" The small spiral thrashed in Zephyr's arms as he gently put it in the basket. It crawled out and stumbled over to Rick. Arin paused to think, "What about... Echo?" Zephyr shrugged, "Good enough." Echo was now off in the corner, climbing a tall stalk of bamboo. To be continued, I am tired hhh |
