bio ❧ All it takes is a drop of blood. Blood becomes thread. Then thread becomes silk. Then silk becomes garments in shimmery, vibrant colors, nurtured lovingly by hand of one who foresaw its creation. Pink eyes and heart swelled with pride as nimble fingers ran across it. Celeste took flight from her homeland Ambrosium weeks before she was intended to leave the nest, a seed of doubt implanted in her mind leading her from an accepting home towards a time of self-imposed isolation and academic pursuits in a deserted tower located in the Starwood Strand. Formally undisturbed, an encounter with another Crow has drawn her out of hiding for the better. Although not yet prepared, the prospects of her return home seem to shine brighter each passing moment... To describe Celeste as odd upon first introduction would not be false. After all, she is a mage, a rarity among a kind that reveres the art of physical combat. But by goodness, is she a fantastic one! She takes pride in her work and lifestyle, not minding the opportunity to indulge in a demonstration of her abilities. However, don’t just assume her to be haughty; underneath her persona lies a sincere, thoughtful individual who seeks approval from her loved ones. Through her studies, Celeste has found herself specializing in the field of what she refers to as “infusement”: a tedious yet rewarding process of weaving magic among strands to create magic-imbued clothing. She has adjusted the process to be workable with an Effuvial Crow’s viral strand, having the clothing become activated upon the interaction of a Crow’s signature smoke.
