ZIRCON
"Zirconium Sulfate, or Zircon, is one of the oldest existing minerals on earth. The oldest Zircon found thus far dates back to 4.3 billion years. Because of the age of these rocks, as well as their composition, they have been used in scientific studies surrounding the history of earth, as well as the history of life itself."
Upon her halo, green plant like growths can be seen jutting out. Most dragons mistake these for plants, but they are actually bacterial colonies taking refuge upon her halo. These bacteria are cyanobacteria (photosynthetic bacteria). Many dragons have made the mistake of getting too close to Zircon, under the assumption that if life can grow near her, they can get near her too without harm. However, these cyanobacteria are actually extremophiles, meaning they thrive in environments that other organisms would find harsh or unlivable. These cyanobacteria are Zircon's closest friends, literally, as they are the only organisms known to thrive under her atmosphere. However, although these cyanobacteria can live close to Zircon; they can't be in contact with her skin or else they will shrivel up and die. It is unknown how these cyanobacteria appeared on her halo in the first place, they seem to be completely unrelated to any living cyanobacteria today.

Zircon is an earth spirit whose body mimics that of ancient earth's environment during the Archean and Hadean eons (2.5-4.5 billion years ago). Her skin is like that of molten rock, and her body is surrounded by an oxygen-less atmosphere. It is best not to get too close to her as her atmosphere is highly toxic and her skin extremely hot, though feel free to chat with her from a safe distance. Some claim to see the lines on her body change shape/placement, but this isn't entirely whats going on. Her skin is broken up into different sections, or "tectonic plates", defined by fault lines (what dragons mistake for being the veined gene). Just like with earth's tectonic plates, Zircon's skin goes through continental drift, and the changes seen in her fault lines are actually due to her tectonic plates changing in size via the processes of subduction, abduction, or divergent zones.
