Biography
A glitch drone, as part of the Hivemind subspecies.
https://www1.flightrising.com/forums/drs/2397522/1
This dragon is the result of an improper assimilation. His assimilation was very close to being completed before it was interrupted (like 90% complete). If a Consciousness ever became aware of his existence, he would most likely be terminated due to his limited usefulness as a drone.
Here is what he looked like prior to being assimilated. The parts of him that did not fully transform during his assimilation reveal some of the colours that were on his old hide.
Although incomplete, his assimilation had progressed far enough to render him almost completely dronelike mentally, while allowing him to retain his ability to eat, sleep, and drink by himself. However, he did not retain any of his memories (though he keeps most new ones he makes), and was mostly stripped of his sentience - he still feels some emotions (mostly anger/confusion), but does not have thoughts.
He also does not have any connection to a hive - he aimlessly wanders the world, indiscriminately attacking other dragons on sight.
*assimilation story*
(unknown) was with his brother when he was attacked. The drone caught the two young dragons by surprise, and spared no time in restraining them with its building fluid. The drone went for (unknown) first, and began the assimilation process.
After several hours, his brother managed to claw his way out of the restraints and kill the drone, ending the assimilation process prematurely. But it was already too late.
He then freed (unknown). However, (unknown) became aggressive and attacked his brother, who was quickly overpowered.
...
(unknown) did not remember where or who he was. The limp bodies of two dragons laid at his feet.
Glitch drones only ever result from an improper assimilation, during which parts of the dragon didn’t finish the transformation. Though it usually only affects their physical appearance, some glitch drones bear scars upon their psyche as well, and may have varying levels of sentience, sapience, and connection to or knowledge of the hive. If a glitch drone has been assimilated properly enough that they are still mentally dronelike, then they may be utilized by the hive; if not, they are typically terminated.
