ABOUT

Lullaby was once one of the kingdom's most highly regarded, beloved healers. Working directly alongside Russet, she was renowned as the most approachable and gentle healer in the kingdom, it was clear she adored her clanmates dearly, and was very passionate about her work as a healer, utilising her unique connection to the nature element.
Russet loved all of her workers, but Lullaby was her star healer, her right hand woman - Lullaby was just always so kind and helpful, and was very good at keeping Russet's anxiety in check and under control, always happy to take over as the head healer when Russet was feeling burnt out and unable to work.

. . .

Lullaby always had a very unique connection to her element, a connection that nobody in the clan seems to understand or have an explanation for. When travelling to the Viridian Labyrinth, the plants Lullaby would walk past would reach out to her and twist around her limbs and tail. And creatures and familiars belonging to the nature element were very fond of her, more so than the other nature dragons in the kingdom. Whether she was blessed by the Gladekeeper herself, or she was simply different from other dragons in terms of her connection to her flight was unclear, all anybody knew was that she was different in this aspect.
Every time she visited the Viridian Labyrinth, the surrounding environment's strange reaction to her strengthened, latching onto her as if it never wanted her to leave. Russet was aware of this, and became more and more defensive of Lullaby, begging her not to go - when Lullaby informed her that there was much needed medicinal plants and magic there that the clan needed, Russet offered to send a patrol on Lullaby's behalf. Lullaby denied this, citing a bizarre desire and feeling that she needed to go as her reason, and gave her dearest friend one last goodbye before she left on what would end up being her final journey away from the clan.
"...Goodbye, Lullaby."

. . .

It's unclear exactly what happened. Many say that the forest simply took her, that the Gladekeeper herself took the dragon that she had blessed. All that Russet knew was that things would never be the same, when she went searching for Lullaby after the coatl hadn't returned when expected, and she simply found her laying stiff among the flowers.
Back in Leviathan Trench, a memorial was created for Lullaby, a dedication to her, her love for her peers, and the good she had done for the clan. At the scene of Lullaby's death in the Everbloom Gardens, a statue was now there, a statue covered in moss, lichen and vines. It looked old, weathered, despite being a new addition to the site.

. . .

...she was awake again. Except it wasn't quite her, no, she had the body, and the vague memory and identity of the dragon she once was, but it wasn't quite Lullaby. No, not quite.
Then who was she? Surely she should know, right? Of all dragons, she should know why she is awake again, why she doesn't really know who she is, why she is bound to the Viridian Labyrinth, right?
She was no longer a dragon, not really, she had the body of one, but it would be more accurate to say that she was now the plants that sprouted from her feathers, the plants that would bloom around her paws at every step she took, an essence of life and nature itself.
She would spend her days around the site of her death, curiously admiring the statue that resembled the dragon she once was, befriending the creatures around her, and existing in harmony with the plants and fungi that had conquered the space around her, feeding off of her energy.

Still, though. She was so confused about her situation, what was going on? What was she? Why did this happen to her?
She was ready to seek answers, to leave her safe space, when she heard some strange noises through the shrubbery, and upon examining the source of this sound, she saw them for the first time. She had never seen these women before, but something about them felt very safe to her, like these two would have the answers she wanted, like they could relate to her.
