Attacus

Named after attacus atlas, otherwise known as the Atlas Moth.

One of the founding members of the Saturnys Clan, who was disowned by his old Flight after being discovered extruding his pearl-mucus into thread, contravening Pearlcatcher tradition. Flying solo for far longer than he would have wished, he eventually came across other individuals in a similar situation to his, and the group banded together. Before long he shared his secret of pearl-weaving with his new acquaintances, and a trend of sorts took off, forever altering his and their destinies.

Now he organises his cohort under the watchful eye of Verndari, who benefits from the profits of their weaving endeavours in return for supporting them. As much as his haughty nature refuses to let him admit it, he holds a deep fondness for her and her family, to whom he owes a great deal.
