eternally youthful soul,

Some claim that it is her sheer willpower that keeps Valyria youthful. Some claim it is her energy, some claim it to be a curse, some claim it to be a blessing. The charcoal-tinted dame does not know, and does not stay still long enough for any mages to find out.

All she knows is that she remains as she is, frozen in time. But that never puts a damper on her soul; this world is hers for the taking, and by the Gods she will take it. In her small, yet powerful maw rests a stirring magick, something enchanting and mysterious. Something which breathes potent flames into her throat, and allows her to soar through the air as though she were a fully-fledged dragon, though she appears to be just a youngling.

Born of no parents, and mother to no progeny; she was brought into the world and remains in it seemingly alone. But she has nestled under the wing of the Acolytes, and remained there since. Her passion is unmatchable, and her wit is uncontestable - not even the Young Prince can challenge her when she begins to spit her indignant intelligence. Though she is no scholar or teacher, the mages learn immense amounts simply by keeping her around. Even Akali, renowned for being a spiteful and rejecting mother to her own eggs, keeps this child happily under-wing, protecting her as though she were one of Akali's Blessed Few

The breeze of wind underwing and the soaring of flight breathes life into Valyria like nothing other. Though small, she is not subject to being knocked out of the air by the smallest disturbance, her wings are much too strong for that. Unbreakable as a Snapper, the young dame is, despite her diminutive size. She can hunt just as though she were an adult, though admittedly her prey isn't as large as the others. Her size does not stop her from trying, however.

Valyria often finds herself causing mischief with her wisp-tailed canid, a dark-stained fox. When paired together, their trickery withing the Acolyte's camp is unmatched. Personal belongings left in hilarious locations, bugs hidden in food, and harmless booby-traps are prevalent when Valyria is feeling particularly problematic, but for the most part she's a wonder to be around. Her vitality and determination serve as an inspiration to each warrior, and her unmatched passion for life can bring anyone out of a bad mood.

Admittedly, the young Banescale can be decisively fiery, and getting on her wrong side can result in unpleasant experience which may or may not involve getting lightly singed by a powerful lick of flame.
