Thais

Accidental Herald, what a silly title. Thais was a herald on purpose afterall, but her lord was accidental (Cayden's idiocy had done many things, his lordship was the most impressive of those). Yes, Thais had never once called Cayden lord in her life, just friend, sometimes lover (though this was rare, or heavily sarcastic).

Lymneris had been her lord for the longest portion of her life, and the worst. An escort who found herself in the company of creeps at almost all times, the young dragon found her peace in the Painted Lady's rooms upstairs where Tobin and Cayden kept a running tab that kept mysteriously going missing each time she would need to pay. As she became more outgoing in Cayden's company, she found herself drifting further and further from her previous lord, though she never dared make the step away from the safety Lymneris provided her.

Cayden, however, was more bold than her old lord had been. After his ascension, Cayden named Thais as his herald quicker than Nethys could ask him for his pick. Having little choice and many questions, Thais followed Cayden to his new-old realm of The Painted Goat to be his herald, though he seems to have forgotten to tell Tobin...
