Once in a cold land was a nest filled to the top with eggs, in the middle of no where on an icy floor, frozen wind howled through the stoned walls of the nest. There sat a small spiral, cuddled up to 5 stone cold eggs. "It's cold" They slowly blinking lifted their head "Where's mommy?" They longed and stared into the thick mist. -She been gone for so long-. Slowly placing their head back onto the icy floor. "I'm hungry." They lamented, curled up around themself, gathering their own heat, soon drifted away into a nightmarish slumber.
The slumber felt like an eternity.... It started with screams and explosions of red followed by a forever of silence... It was quiet for a long time, "I had forgotten what sound sounded like ... like the little rattle the eggs of my brothers and sister made when I nuzzled into them at night or even my mum's footsteps cracking snow beneath her." ..... "I'm hungry." .... Only silence for an answer
Some thing changed today. They lifted their head towards the mist, it looked more inviting than before, as if it has had a slight glow. "I'm hungry ... my family wont survive much more, they need warmth." They thought as they lovingly gazed at the slightly blackened cold eggs. Slowly, they climbed out of the nest, placing one foot at a time welcoming the snow between their claws.
