Years ago, Suhail fled the wind territory, searching for a special place to call home. She did not expect to find in the cold and harsh ice territory. While travelling, she grew accustomed to the cold. When she stumbled across a cave, she knew that this was the place she would call home.

Upon settling down in this cave, she went and searched for food. While searching, she stumbled across another dragon named Belcanto near the water's edge. Inviting him back to her cave started a legacy and a home for all dragons, big and small. With Belcanto's help, she starts a family and a clan and becomes the leader.

Eventually, her fling with Belcanto ended, and they went their separate ways. Suhail became invested in her leadership duties and would meet with the Ice Warden to perform her duties as clan leader. But over time, she became lonely. Surrounded by her clan members, she felt she could not express herself; she then decided to discuss her feelings with her second in command, Starprince, one of the first dragons to join her home. Starprince reassured her that another dragon would come along and lead alongside her. The stars have told him so.

Suhail tried to wait patiently for this soulmate to come along. She waited years until she met him. Zelus was a clan member from another ice lair. She fell in love at first sight. She would talk to him constantly, and eventually, she joined the clan as a defender. Within weeks, she was courting him, and months later, they laid their first eggs together.

Zelus and Suhail take turns making the difficult decisions for the clan, taking the burden off one another.

ETYMOLOGY: Suhail, from Arabic: سهيل, is the common name of a number of stars typically seen near the southern horizon. It is part of the traditional names of three stars in the constellation Argo Navis.
