Biography
Calamity never knew her real name. She was stolen from her nest as a mere hatchling, all memory prior from being forced into another clan are gone. to kill, to steal, and have no mercy were their ways
Mistreated, soft at heart, she never wanted any of what they were training her to be. She had no choice. Fight, or die. They'd kill her. After many monotonous, and painful years, she was one of them now. Her heart a stone, and her flame fueled only by rage and hatred. Knowing no other home than her clan, she fought for them, tooth and nail. Climbing the ranks. So very little of her past self remained, but it was there. And it still shines through sometimes, in rare moments.
She was passionate, a fighter, but still soft at heart. Too soft. Did everything they could to break her, but in the end, did it ever really work?
No longer the tiny, scared dragon she used to be, with her claws wrapped around the hilt of a blade, shaking and crying, while her superiors barked orders at her. A fatally wounded dragon looking up at her with fear in their eyes as she swung the blade, feeling nothing all the while... for the first time.
Determined, cold, and a heart full of rage.
She used her skills, over time... The things they had taught her all her life. And she took down her superiors. One by one. Always suspecting the rival clans. Or another dragon. They trusted her now. She was one of them now. Or so they thought.
She fed, and healed the wounded when no one was looking.
Saved and freed hatchlings, returning eggs.
When the dragon who did it returned, she ended them. Swiftly.
The dragons within the clan, who wanted to rebel, appointed her as their leader. They all pretended to follow all the rules, and do everything they were told. Like before. Climbing the ranks together. When there was more of them, and fewer of the ones running the clan, they struck.
A battle took place, ending with Calamity and the dragons by her side as the winners. Left without someone to tell them what to do, some dragons fled. Some joined her. Some still tried to attack, and some left with the intention to hunt down the ones who fled
Most of them who joined her, left, to form their own groups or find their way elsewhere.
With only 3 dragons by her side, she started a clan to take in those who had fates like theirs. To give them a place to heal.
She still struggles with her bloodlust, the anger in her heart. But this was a chance for them to heal and use their skills to help, instead of hurt.
Carries the weight of her scars, and painful memories. Deals with them frequently. Trains dragons to fight and survive , but not the way she way was taught To protect themselves. Emotions get the best of her. But even still, after everything, she's so very kind and sweet to everyone in her clan, but guarded and defensive to those she does not know.
