TW: MENTIONS OF GORE
First there was a heartbeat. the faintest sound that not even an insect could hear.
Then there was a dragon. a dragon that had beautiful shining eyes that resembled the sun, our sun!
Those eyes looked up to the sky and back at the smiling faces around it, blinking and gazing.
Expectations were placed on this dragon, his eyes were brighter than any other and his mind was strong!
The dragons around him were overbearing, always demanding more and more results.
He could not bear any more.
Second there was screaming. A scream so loud that all the dragons could hear.
Then there was crimson. Glistening red that shined and gleamed like the sun, our... sun?
Something is wrong, this isn't how the story goes.
Red. There's only red.
The eyes that once looked up to the sky with such curiosity have turned dim.
The expectations of dragons around him have turned into fear.
What has happened?
The dragon remembers little of this time, only tidbits.
He was banished from the lights domain, from his home!
but why? why why why why.. WHY?
He can't remember- no he doesn't want to remember. or is it-
He forgot. his mind? maybe himself, yes he forgot himself.
Who was he? Does that matter anymore?
Blood has been shed. Is it his blood? or others?
It shines so beautifully in his eyes. HE shines so beautifully in his eyes.
He dances with the darkness, a deadly waltz for two.
Spinning and twirling, smiling and laughing.
He had an epiphany, This is why he was born!
To butcher and kill this is his reason for living!
The bramble has welcomed him, with open arms.
Within the darkness, a dragon consumed by madness lurks.
