ROLE

Clan Leader. Among the first to be taken in by Manwe and Vaire, Samhain was elected leader alongside her mate when the two elders retired.

RANK

Fighter Class. Samhain is highly skilled in the battlefield arena, though prefers to find peaceful solutions where possible. Due to her status as a coliseum veteran, she at times oversees training of new members should the usual trainers be unavailable.

REPUTATION

Samhain is known to be unfailingly fair and perhaps more cautious than most. She is extremely analytical and ferociously loyal to her clan. Samhain always takes care not to let her emotions cloud her judgement, as her actions impact all beneath her wings.

CLAN HISTORY

"We all seek peace — and together, we will achieve it."

____The elders forged the way forward, carefully building a hidden sanctuary deep within the heart of the shadow realm. The land was chosen for its defensible placement and shrouds of secrecy, and the laws designed by the elders were carefully chosen to ensure the safety and anonymity of the clan members.

____The ideals of the clan are simple at their core. Any seeking refuge from war and climate, pasts they wish to divest themselves of, or simply in need of a place they can call home — a world where they belong — are welcome to the shelters formed by the elders and protected by the guard.

____They must surrender their name and accept a new one ( in keeping with clan tradition ) and present their skills to the elders to find placement. From there, who they become and the lives that they lead are for themselves to dictate.

INVENTORY

These garments represent the unique gift that Samhain and Hallow possess, which is the ability to commune with spirits and with those who have passed on. Spirits guide the leaders in finding new members of the clan, while voices of the past call for who is to come next.

FAMILIAR GOAL

Samhain often admits she would never have survived the escape from her home had it not been for the little sprite that lit her way through the ruins. She attributes her discovery by Vaire to the little sprite, who seemed to know the elder dragon well and lead Samhain straight to her. Though the law of the clan stated certain rules for the adoption of new names, Samhain's sprite communed with Vaire and it was from the elder that her new name was granted. When the time came, a mate would arrive for her who would take the name Hallow, though his coming was not foretold to her then, Vaire understood the need of her name upon her arrival and knew that time would tell.

» It was Manwe who decreed a unified naming system.

» This system aided in concealing the pasts these dragons have fled.

» Though all have a history, it is not demanded that they share it.

» Manwe oversees the laws of the clan, and any necessary changes.

» It was Varda who built the first nests.

» Varda decreed that all who have need be welcomed.

» Though clans may have differences, those must be left behind upon finding home here.

» Varda oversees the nest rotations and if need be, exaltations.
