Efren grew up in a small cave in the western starfall isles, amongst a clan of gorgeous green and blue sky dancers. Efren was always the odd one out, as her wings were honeydew instead of blue like the other dragons. But she was accepted in the clan and had many good friends.

When she was still quite young, her clan was attacked by pirates. They stole everything and pillaged the town, killing any dragon who dared try to stop them. In the aftermath, a purple spiral dragon found her where she was hidden inside a closet. He adopted her and raised her on his flying ship. Little did she know that he was in fact the one who led the attack.

She became part of a group who called themselves the sky scavengers, led by Xene until he was exiled for his plot to invade the starfall isles. Efren became the second leader, as her crewmates followed her because she was the strongest dragon onboard.

However, everything changed when Mordok, an Imperial male started getting stronger, and faster. The crew slowly began to address him as leader, instead of her. So they expelled her from the ship, and
with no place else to go, she flew into the sky to serve the arcanist inside the observatory.
