Brightsea

Lobelia was born as the younger of two sisters in the Nature flight.

In spite of this, she never felt any connection with the myriad of flowers surrounding her in the Everbloom Gardens, nor the trees and undergrowth of the Shrieking Wilds. Not even the towering Behemoth seemed to stir any sort of loyalty or awe in her.

When she became of age for the Search, she bid her sister Grotto goodbye for now, and left the Nature flight's territory. Yet, when she had passed the border, she felt an odd sense of relief. There was too much flora for her comfort

As her Search continued, she found herself in the territory of different flights, but when she reached the Sea of a Thousand Currents, she felt as though she had finally come home from a long journey.

She made her home there, as well as sending a letter to Grotto to inform her of her safety. Said letter also included her current home in Flotsam Town and joining of the Water flight.

Lobelia felt as though her name no longer suited her, one who had tired of the jungle, and found purpose in the sea, so she had decided a new one was in order.

Brightsea was born once more in the Sea of a Thousand Currents.

As for her charge? Grotto would laugh and tell you that no, her baby sister's charge isn't the Tsunami Gem Guardian that became her familiar. Her sister's charge is the Water flight itself, and the safety of all dragons who inhabit it.

Brightsea would definitely agree with this assessment, as she continues to work to guard the territory of the Water flight, and prays that she may meet the Tidelord himself one day.

To all, Brightsea is calm, gentle, and unwaveringly loyal towards others, no matter their flight. However, should you ever threaten the safety and integrity of the Water flight, and any dragon in it, well, you were warned!
