-- Though she makes her home in Charming currently, she was born on the outskirts of the Sirallan desert.
-- The family she was born into was one of great sorcerers; descendants of dragons who harnessed the most powerful of magics.. Those who were responsible for the creation of something beyond their understanding.
-- After years of living "harmoniously" with the spirit in exchange for offering him souls, one individual decided that they had caused enough loss of life, and with a spell that nearly took every bit of energy, physical and mental, that she had, she bound the spirit to a lantern and fled in the dead of night.
-- This defector was Tesleen's mother. When she died, the lantern was entrusted to her.
-- She kept her duty of making sure it was out of the wrong hands, while also trying to find a way to help the spirit within, being able to sense his distress when his power began to wane and the threat of fading away grew imminent.
-- Try as she might, eventually the inevitable happened: the spirit's lantern was stolen, and for awhile she spent every waking day trying to track it down. To her dismay, somehow Cyrus had been freed, and though she tried to rebind him, the attempt was unsuccessful. He escaped, though not before leaving her with an unhealing burn on her tail.
-Even today she continues to search for him, and a way she might soothe his soul.
