Fharath

If you go past a particular tree within the domain of Aquaria's clan, you may notice that it has a face - and moreover, that it will yell at you to stop treading on it's roots. This is Fharath.

He once was a wildclaw of Emberglow Hearth, leaving his homeland for an alchemical expedition. However, at some point during this time, he discovered a new mixture that caused painful scale growth. It drove him completely mad, and Aquaria's warriors found him burning everything in sight in his attempts to burn off the scales in his flesh.

Fharath wouldn't let anyone near him, nor would he stop burning the forest. Normal attempts to subdue him were ineffectual, thanks to the nature of fire on nature magic. Titania did the only thing she could think of next - she changed his very life essence. Fharath's claws and wings changed into branches, his scales to bark, his feathers to leaves. In the space of ten minutes, the wildclaw had become a tree.



Fharath remained where he was for over a year, yelling at anyone who tried to climb in his branches without permission, and offering brewing tips if the mood struck. During the Emperor attack, however, he was defenseless. It was here that Titania managed to perform another miracle: she encapsulated a good portion of his essence within a single acorn, planting it later within a cave. A new oak tree now rises within the cavern, and Fharath finds himself with a new ability: he can literally be in two places at once.
