-Most Gaolers dislike her because of this
-Is a null (her magic is “reversed,” meaning she can disrupt magic rather than creating her own)
-Investigates the supernatural, due to her Gaoler tendencies and own abnormality

It’s worth noting that while Bramble cannot use magic, she can still harm dragons (and other things) by using high-power null fields on them. This SERIOUSLY messes with their internal reserves of magic, sending the victim into shock and sometimes even killing them

╭━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━╮ Bramble was born different. Where other dragons called forth fire, lightning, rose plants from the ground and covered the earth in frost, she created… nothing. A tangible absence, something that blocked their power, their magic, the very lifeblood of their souls. Her parents could not name her: traditional soldiers, they feared her power. Had never heard of its like. They knew the others could not understand, would not even try to. She would be labeled and locked away in their cells, never to see the sunlight again. They left the Order shortly after her birth. Their journey took them to Dragonhome, the Sunbeam Wastes, a thousand confused scholars. None had ever heard of a dragon being born without magic. When the conversation turned to her strange power, they invariably turned away. Some wrote holy symbols in the air, others crafted convenient excuses. A bold few suggested close study, perhaps even dissection. These were dismissed with barely a backward glance. The years passed, and answers were no closer. They’d found a good few, dragons who were curious enough to run tests, but not so much that they would go further. The results were inconclusive; Bramble was, by all accounts, healthy. Normal. It wasn’t so much that she was separated from magic. It simply took a different path for her. Some strange fluke of genetics, mind, something, twisted her power into something decidedly different from what anyone had seen. Eventually, the research tapered off. Bramble’s parents accepted that they could never truly understand her gift. So instead, they focused on teaching her how to master it, raising her as if she were a normal child.
