[NEW] Lore Notes
- Siblings Left and Right are mystics, in other words, witches. They're not what they seem to be— Often times the two unintentionally frighten those around them, but the siblings themselves aren't as scary as they may seem at first. Their otherworldly, stunning appearance is highly uncommon in this part of the world, lending to the air of mysticism that they cultivate... yet, they possess a humble behavior. Among other things, they do palm readings, tarot, pendulums, and other forms of divination. They're always honest with their readings, not leaving any details out, even if it spooks away certain customers.
- The locals are mostly discouraged from approaching them, as their practices are seen as intimidating. Despite that, the siblings are completely open to being questioned about their profession and are willing to explain as best as they can when a client has their doubts. When an unfortunate individual's reading includes misfortune in one way or another, the siblings offer advice, amulets, and even rituals and spells to banish negative energies that may be close to said individual.
- There's a general pattern among what type of person comes to them for what. Travelers and long-haul sailors tend to come to them for general-future predictions, asking what sort of vast riches and worldly treasures they'll come to possess. Locals tend to come to Left and Right for more personal matters - they might ask for a tarot reading on the fate of their marriage, or advice on what they should do about their neighbor's concerning behavior. The siblings are always happy to assist people with their endeavors, to both new and old faces.
