Biography
Diaore (pronounced Die-ore, silent a) is a nursemaid of the lair. The others aren't sure where she came from, nor her background for that matter, but the mysteriousness around her keeps those curious at bay. Her glowing eyes and Ebony antlers, made the main focus by her Halo's, force eye contact regardless of if you wanted to stare her head on or not. Those who don't feel a chill are praised in whispers amongst their peers as a long running rumor of her being fearsome spread through the clan.
Diaore spends her time alone and doesn't mind the silence. She doesn't really talk to anybody, besides her mate, but it's said that when she does, her voice is silky sweet and kind- contrary to popular belief of her being cold-hearted and frightening.
People are warming up to her, but it'll take a long time to properly accept her and not give wary glances as they pass her by in the marketplace or at the stock of food or outright cringe due to the Keel she possesses, even if beautiful to others.
She watches hatchlings when the parents need rest or food or to head off to fight in various Venue's of the Coliseum for whatever reason. Her patience is high, which made her the perfect candidate.
Her familiar is an Unnamed Wispwillow Peryton, which others but shadow dragons see as an assortment of light (per the flavor text).
Headcanons (Friend Rising fun, bold is official canon):
-her keel is very sharp like shards of glass and if they clink together they sound like windchimes
-hatchlings that arent scared of her (and small enough) like to hang off of her antlers despite their parents protests
-if you lick the keel it taste like a blue raspberry ringpop
-feathers fluff up when shes upset
-her keel glows just like her eyes.
-loves silk things!
..but the keel punctures it :(
-shes incredibly sweet and patient even with the most misbehaved hatchlings
-also likes hugs even though she is pointy
-will go out of her way to figure out what each hatchling likes to do and personalize her time spent with them based on that
