TARO
OLD GOD > Prideful > Snarky > Alt-J (∆) - Taro
An old forgotten God, perhaps his ego got in the way.

-Used to be a well worshipped God
- He became very spoiled, continued to demand offerings until his followers had nothing left to give.
-As time passed fewer and fewer came to worship him until his temple was forgotten
- Now in current times, he waits in slumber, hoping for someone to visit him again
-He often appears bored, and tends to come across as passive-aggressive when speaking to others

An old god laid resting in an old abandoned temple. The ruins seemed to be taken back by the forest it sat in, moss covered every carefully placed stone, roots forced their way through the tiles of the temple floor, it looked like one wrong step could cause the structure to crumble, and in it sat an old decaying god. He looked to be in the same shape if not worse than the state the temple was in, his body thin and frail, his eyes fogged over like glass as he stared forward at nothing and thought of the past.

Sitting in the crumbling structure, he remembered the days when dragons would flock to his temple by the hundreds and shower him with gifts of gold and shed blood in his name. Oh how the people loved him.

He remembered demanding better offerings, seeing the confusion and heartbreak on his followers' faces as they had already given him all that they had. Oh, how his rage scared them when he became such a spoiled god.

Finally, he remembered how fewer and fewer came to visit his temple, how no one would adore him with gifts right until no one ever showed up at all. The god had been forgotten. For years he hoped they would return, his anger at them for abandoning him turning into cold desperation until all that was left was sleep.

Maybe one day another will stumble on to the sleeping god and his abandoned temple, and maybe next time the old god won't take what he has for granted...
