Avid

Avid originally comes from the clan of Umbra's old friend Lilien. They lived on the Southern Icefields for a long time but after finding a Plague mate for herself, Lilien decided to move to the Scarred Wasteland. The clan stopped by Umbra in the Tangled Wood on the way to their new home and there Avid met the love of his life - the energetic accountant of the Old Willow Clan, Hyper. The visit was over too quickly. There was still too much things to discuss, too many activities to enjoy and too many moments to share. He couldn't get himself to leave.

Fortunately Umbra gladly accepted him as a permanent member of the clan. The two dragons were absolutely thrilled.

It didn't take long and the pair was guarding their first clutch of eggs. Sabretta and Ofélie were the first hatchlings but definitely not last. Some of them stay in the clan, some of them decide to travel and some dedicate their lives to the service of Shadowbinder. It's their choice, though, Avid is always sad when he has to let his babies go. However, there are usually new kiddos he needs to entertain and look after so he gets over his sadness very quickly.
