1148.png 		Cypress had lived in the bamboo forests for a very long time, by her reckoning. Since the conflicts between flights had been at their peak, since they had simmered down, before the Millmeadows had gained their namesake windmills.

Since before the town in the valley had sprung up, a few years ago.

It had been tiny at first, hardly more than a camp. But it grew steadily, and the plains slowly gave way to plowed fields and crops.
