Uh-oh, looks like this lavender butterfly wandered a little too far from her home lair (Freefire, 490003), and now she's off to see the world! If ever you feel the urge to exalt, she'd really appreciate it if you could just return her home instead, or to the 'Dragons Off To See The World' thread, here.
Growing up, Lavender and her brother were told all sorts of stories from their parents' travels. Her mother had been born in another clan, far from their current home, but had been sent to the Blacksand Annex to continue the family's bloodline elsewhere. After her brother was sent back to her mother's birth lair - for reasons that were never disclosed to his sister - Lavender decided to leave her home lair and explore the world. She doesn't know what to expect on her travels, but she wishes to visit every flight's territory one day!

Lavender was tentative about her stay in Clan Mavenlark. So many dragons packed under one roof, with relatively loose laws and supervision - it just seemed like a recipe for disaster. Twice, she was invited to stay in a stranger's lair for the night. Were they being nice, or opportunistic? She left as quickly as she came.

Lavender stayed with her next clan for a over a month, learning new things. Even though the clan was in Shadow, there were many dragons from other flights living together peacefully. She learned that many clans worked differently and as she began to pack her things to leave, she knew she would miss this place that had welcomed her for a long time.

Lavender ended up at a rest hub in the Windswept Plateau where she met Peridot. He was friendly and charming, and Lavender found herself spending quite some time in his company. When he invited her back to his home in the Sunbeam Ruins, she accepted... and shortly thereafter, found herself on a nest, which reawakened all of the doubts she'd had at Clan Mavenlark.

She couldn't bear to be around Peridot any longer, even though he was just as caring as before. How much of that care was simply because he wanted hatchlings to satisfy the instincts inherited from his grandmother?! She ended up asking these questions of ToxicRiver, who had also utilized a nest at the Sunbeam Lanternhouse. Like Peridot, he too was trying to propogate his lineage, but unlike herself, he was not bothered at all.

He suggested with humor that it was perhaps because it was her first clutch. Though she wasn't sure she agreed with him, Lavender requested to travel with him when she left; his easy manner soothed her worries, and she hoped that in his company she'd make peace with what had happened.

Lavender arrived in the moonbleeder clan and found a little inn to stay at. It was a very temperate and well insulated cave that stayed nice and warm depsite the sheer cold weather outside. She stayed for quite sometime but didnt wrote much aa she was enjoying more of the sights and local activities that many of the residents partake in. After the extended stay she decided it was time to explore new clans and set out to find them.

Lavender Found herself in Clan Zephyr next. A quiet, colorful place where the rulers lead with a silk leash. their subjects loyal through trust. The creek nearby soothed her to sleep each night and the singing winds roused her in the morn. peace.
