The whip cracks, claws tapping as he lands. Lips parted. Ivory teeth shining and dark eyes glancing at the crowd. He stands proudly before his master, leaping in tune with her commands. The crowd behind him mutters in awe, for few have seen such a beast as Rochester. Some attempt to reach out, to touch his fur as he presses against the bars of his cage - perhaps they want to know how it feels to touch something so cursed, but Rochester gives few of them the chance. With a sudden turn and a snap of his jaws, he draws blood from those who get too close. He might be caged, but he refuses to be tamed as if he were someone’s menial pet.
