On the borders between the tangled wood and the sunbeam ruins, from an egg imbued with both shadow and light, two dragons hatched.
Two spirals, sharing the same patterns, but with one having vibrant scales the colour of blood, while the others scales being the colour of leaves. One of Shadow, and one of Light. 
If you were to ask any of the crew who out of the two was the brains, they'd respond with a unanimous 'Mangrove.' While his sister is all muscle, Mangrove is known in the clan for his talent in weaving songs and poems any way he wants. A somber tone to grieve those who have been lost? Easy enough. A rousing sea shanty to boost the crew's morale for the next adventure? An absolute breeze! While not often, as he tends to stay away from fights, he has also used his ability with music to confuse enemies in battle, allowing an ally (typically Calliope) an opening for attacks, making he and his sister a formidable team. 
Mangrove act's as the crews trusty bard and healer, being able to switch between the two skills when required. He can typically be found doing an array of tasks, from practicing his latest song to tweaking his instruments, or tending to the herb store and mixing up new ointments and poultices with some help from Kiwi. |
