Loki

Loki was a 'sickly' hatchling. Unlike his more promising siblings, he was completely unable to wield the magic that made his family so legendary. Unworthy, or so he was told. Loki didnt feel unworthy though; in fact, he felt that he was more deserving than anyone after he had been tossed aside and scorned all his life, just for being different. He might not have incredible magical potential, but he had his strength and cunning, and he was going to use it to his advantage.

His father and mother, while never being cruel to him, clearly favoured his twin siblings. They would get all the attention and praise, while Loki always felt he was offered pity and handled like glass. He would prove to them, to everyone what being strong really meant. Not myths nor magic spells, but true, raw, unbridled strength and the drive to do whatever it takes.
