PERSONALITY

Death and injury do not phase Obsidius; he has seen much, and he knows that they are all part of the circle of life. He believes that patients whine way too much, and to prove thus he has grown a habit of describing in great detail the various festers and wounds and diseases he has encountered to those who gripe about their ailments.

BACKGROUND

Along with Sky and Kullervo, Obsidius was one of the first to join Posh and Grace in carving a new home into the Windswept Plateau. Posh invited him as a healer, and the guardian also lent his aid to hunting in the Coliseum, before more clansmen could join to take up arms instead. Now Obsidius spends his time curing the ill, awaiting the day his Search leads him on his journey.
Obsidius is quite the stud ~~and makes for some very interesting colors in dragon hatchlings~~. He's been with many of the resident dragons at least once. As of late, however, he has become quite enamored with Secret, and has been visiting other dragons less and less frequently.

JOB

Perhaps it is a funny coincidence for a Plague dragon to be a healer, but for Obsidius there is no better job. He started the occupation during his stay with a clan in the Sea of a Thousand Currents, and he continued this practice upon moving to the Windswept Plateau. Perhaps his fascination started as an interest in the ways specific diseases could affect living creatures? Or perhaps a scientific satisfaction in being able to combat disease and injury despite death's ultimate inevitability? Whatever the case, with use of Kullervo's medicinal plants, Obsidius is the best healer the clan has to offer, and they have met no better.
On the rare instances that Obsidius fils, he must deal with Sanguine. These meetings are usually accompanied by conversations about all manner of dead things.
